Beazley appoints CUO Paul Bantick to Board

Beazley’s board of directors has appointed Paul Bantick, the company’s group chief underwriting officer, as executive director, effective January 1, 2026.

Bantick currently leads the strategic direction of Beazley’s specialist underwriting portfolio, ensuring strong alignment between the group’s growth objectives and underwriting discipline.

He oversees a broad range of insurance classes covering property and professional areas, including directors and officers, as well as highly specialized areas such as cyber, maritime, aviation and political risk.

“For two decades, Paul has developed a reputation as a pioneering leader in the cyber insurance space, playing an important role in the continued growth and maturation of the market, particularly through the creation of the first cyber catastrophe bond and the establishment of Full Spectrum Cyber ​​and Beazley Security,” the specialty insurance company explained.
