Balavant Insurance Group, a specialist insurance solutions provider, has launched Sentric Specialty, a new project manager (PA) built on its platform to provide specialized solutions for risks in the manufacturing, crisis management and professional liability sectors.
According to the insurer, the launch brings coverage for product recalls for the first time, including manufacturer errors and omissions (E&O), closing the traditional market coverage gap in manufacturing defect protection.
The joint venture will be supported by Hudson Insurance Group, an Odyssey Group company, which will provide papers rated A+ by AM Best.
Hudson is a specialty carrier known for its underwriting depth and long-term PA partnerships, bringing capacity and financial stability to the platform.
This launch marks the first in a series of product innovations designed to meet the evolving risk landscape. It also reflects Balavant’s broader vision of building a “next-generation MGA platform.”
Sentric is led by Florian Beerli as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). He is a market veteran with deep expertise in specialized niche product lines.
Most recently, he served as Beazley’s Head of Professional and US Projects, overseeing a portfolio spanning the United States, Canada and Asia.
Directly related to this launch, Sentric has also secured renewal rights for Beazley’s product recall business, establishing immediate scale and continuity in the market.
