Atrium, the specialist insurance company owned by Lloyd’s, has announced a number of leadership and team appointments within its Property Business Group.
Natalie Dubois and Thomas Hobbs have been promoted to co-directors of Property Binders in the United States and Canada. Emily Lambert joins Atrium as an underwriter in the Property Direct & Facultative team, working under the leadership of Nick Leppard.
Lambert joins Aspen (Sompo International Holdings Ltd) from Liberty Specialty Markets, where he was part of the Property D&F team.
The appointments are part of Atrium’s strategy to grow its core product lines and expand opportunities through key distribution partners.
Kelly Blaney, Group Head of Property Binders, commented: “As these appointments demonstrate, we have ambitious plans for our Property Group. Natalie and Tom both have proven track records and strong market support, making them excellent choices to lead our Property Binders client development in the US and Canada. Emily will bring significant knowledge and experience to our Property D&F clients.”
Peter Laidlaw, active underwriter at Syndicate 609, added: “These appointments will broaden our product range and enhance our underwriting expertise and service capabilities. They underline our commitment to providing clients, brokers and MGAs with a market-leading property underwriting team.”
