Global reinsurer Ariel Re has announced the appointments of Sarah Morgan as Head of Property and Reed Gaglio as Head of E&S Property Reinsurance, both effective April 1, 2026.
Morgan succeeds Mike Cornish, who has held the position at Ariel Re since 2018. Cornish will continue in his new role with the company, supporting strategy, new product development and special projects.
Morgan joined Ariel Re in 2006 and has since been a key member of the real estate underwriting team, building strong broker and client relationships across the market.
Most recently, she served as Senior Vice President, Ariel Re Property & Casualty Reinsurance.
In his new role as Head of E&S Property Reinsurance, Gaglio will lead the next phase of business development, reflecting the growing strategic importance of the category.
He joined Ariel Re in 2005 and most recently served as Senior Vice President Property & Casualty Reinsurance and Head of Apollo s6133 Property & Casualty Reinsurance.
Ariel Re said leadership updates to its real estate underwriting team reinforce its focus on portfolio resiliency and long-term strategic growth.
