Lloyds insurance company Argenta has appointed Alexandra Hayes as head of group strategy and execution/chief of staff and Sweta Tzimopoulos as chief distribution officer.
The two appointments are designed to strengthen the insurer’s leadership team and reflect its focus on strategic growth.
Hayes joins Argenta in January 2026 and Tzimopoulos will join later in 2026, but her start date has not yet been determined.
In her new role, Hayes reports directly to Argenta Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Nick Moore. She will assist in the delivery of Argenta’s priorities and work closely with the Senior Management Team (SMG) to ensure the effective execution of the insurance company’s strategic objectives.
She has extensive experience in strategy, transformation and leadership across the insurance, financial services and fintech sectors. Most recently, Hayes served as chief of staff to the CEO of Direct Line Group, providing support to the CEO and senior executives on improved performance and Aviva’s successful acquisition of the group.
Ms Pevriouslky was previously chief of staff to the CEO of Lloyds, where she was responsible for providing clarity, accountability and momentum around the market’s five-year strategic plan.
Tzimopoulos also reports to Moore in her new role, where she will lead Argenta’s distribution strategy, focusing on building deeper relationships with broker partners and finding new channels to support growth.
She has nearly 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. Prior to this, Tzimopoulos served as Director of Distribution Strategy and Marketing for the UK and Bermuda, and as an executive committee member of Ascot Underwriting, where she established the distribution and marketing functions.
She previously held senior roles in business development, strategy and change management at Liberty Specialty Markets and held a transformation leadership role at Aon, where she managed change initiatives and acquisitions. Her early career included consulting and banking.
