Apple has launched a mentoring program called Launch @ Apple to help the first generation of college students majoring in finance, economics and accounting. The program will be launched in early 2021 and will pair students with Apple mentors one-on-one based on documents describing the program and provide resources for “learning and opportunities for personal and professional growth.” Launch @ Apple may also provide job cover, paid internship and paid internship opportunities. Applications are now open, and interested students can apply before January 8, 2021.
According to the PDF obtained by MacRumors, Launch @ Apple is suitable for first-generation college freshmen and sophomores in certain disciplines. The document says the plan will “focus on managing and proficient in the basic elements of school and work.”
The document detailing Launch @ Apple states that the program is suitable for students who have a parent or guardian but have not obtained a college degree. Students who are in the first or second year of university and intend to study finance, economics, accounting or similar disciplines related to business, mathematics, business or data analysis are eligible for Launch @ Apple.
According to the document, the guidance program application form containing 18-19 questions will be filled out and sent to email@example.com before January 8, 2021.
