The board of directors of global insurance and reinsurance brokerage group Aon has approved the extension of the employment agreement of President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Greg Case until December 31, 2030.
Case, who has been with the brokerage giant for more than 21 years, joined the company in April 2005 as president and CEO, succeeding Patrick Ryan, who had served as CEO of Aon since its inception.
Prior to joining Aon, Case spent 17 years at McKinsey & Company, an American multinational strategy and management consulting firm, where he led the global insurance and financial services practice.
Case’s employment agreement with Aon was originally scheduled to terminate on April 1, 2028, but the board has now approved an extension until the end of 2030.
He is also a member of Aon’s Board of Directors and the People and Wellbeing Subcommittee of the Corporate Board’s Governance/Nominating Committee.
Case will be nominated for re-election to the Board of Directors at Aon’s 2026 annual meeting of shareholders, and at subsequent annual meetings of the company’s shareholders during the term of the employment agreement.
