Global insurance and reinsurance brokerage group Aon has announced the appointment of Julio Adolfo Cedillo Mejía as Chief Executive Officer, Commercial Risk and Human Capital for Mexico, the Caribbean and Central America.
The transition to the new position will be effective May 1, 2026.
An Aon spokesman said: “Julio has 22 years of experience with the company and has consistently demonstrated strong leadership and positively impacted our business, contributing strategic vision and a customer-centric approach.”
Adding: “We believe his experience and deep market knowledge will be instrumental in helping us continue to advance our strategy to support business growth.”
Cedillo Mejía is an industry veteran who has been with Aon since 2004, most recently as CEO of Mexico and Central America Reinsurance and Chief Brokerage Officer of Latin America Reinsurance.
The move signals Aon’s commitment to solidifying its leadership position in Latin America by integrating its risk management and workforce consulting divisions into one strategic unit.
