Global insurance and reinsurance brokerage group Aon has appointed Viviana Martinez as interim reinsurance director for the Middle East and North Africa region, based in Dubai.
In her new role, Martinez will lead the provision of interim reinsurance solutions to clients across the MENA region, providing cedants and insurers with tailored technology placements in key business areas. She will focus on building strong relationships with regional and global markets to provide capabilities and innovative structures.
Martinez has been with Aon for nearly 15 years, most recently as head of commercial network Europe, Middle East and Africa for Aon’s Global Brokerage Center, where he led the strategic development of its international real estate team.
Martinez said in a recent LinkedIn post: “After 15 years working in the London insurance market at Aon Global Brokerage, where I learned, grew and had the privilege of working with great colleagues, I have now moved to Dubai to take on a new challenge as Interim Reinsurance Director for the Middle East and North Africa region.
“I’m proud to be part of this dynamic and growing market and I look forward to leveraging my experience in London and international markets to support customers and partners in the region.”
