Amazon will integrate its Pantry service in Fresh stores in India. So far, Amazon Pantry and Amazon Fresh are two separate parts of an application or website. The former mainly includes dry groceries, bulk purchase items and super protectant packaging, while the latter includes items that can be delivered to customers in a short time, including daily groceries, perishables and household products. Amazon announced on Friday that Pantry will be integrated into the Fresh store in the next few weeks.
It should be noted that this service can only be seen in cities where the Fresh service is available. Amazon said in a press release that the new experience will be rolled out to customers in Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Delhi and Mysore within the next two weeks. The integration will cover customers in other cities where Fresh can be used in the coming months. For the rest of the country, Amazon Pantry will continue to operate as before.
Amazon says this integration will help customers enjoy a simplified grocery shopping experience. In the past, customers often added items to their shopping carts. These items were divided between the pantry and the fresh-keeping warehouse, which would result in different delivery times for different products, depending on the store. Now you can order anything from food to pet products and have it delivered immediately.
Customers can also choose free two-hour delivery for all orders over Rs. 600. If the order amount is less than this amount, an additional Rs will be charged. Will be levied 29. Customers can also arrange delivery times by choosing from multiple time periods from 6 am to midnight.
The integration will be available on both the Amazon app and the desktop or mobile website.
